Sweden: accepted asylum applicants 2022

The number of accepted first instance asylum applications in Sweden, from the first quarter 2016 to the fourth quarter 2022, fluctuated and saw a peak in the fourth quarter of 2016 with more than 29,000 successful applicants. The lowest number of accepted first instance asylum applications in Sweden was in the third quarter of 2021 with approximately 400 applicants.
