External finance accessability for SMEs in the UK in 2015

This statistic presents the capacity of small and medium enterprises (SME) to access external finance according to SME employers in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015, broken down by the size of the company. The respondents from medium-sized enterprises were the most optimistic about their firms' capacity to access external financing. A total of 27 percent assessed the ability to be strong and another 23 percent claimed the access to be very strong.

Survey was conducted among small and medium businesses with employees. Three categories were distinguished, based on employees numbers: micro businesses (1 to 9 employees), small businesses (10 to 49 employees) and medium businesses (50 to 250 employees).
