Non-performing loans ratio in Serbia 2002-2015

Bank non-performing loans (NPL) to total gross loans ratio in Serbia from 2002 to 2015

by James Cherowbrier, last edited Aug 17, 2018
Non-performing loans ratio in Serbia 2002-2015 This statistic presents the ratio of non-performing loans (NLP) to total gross loans in Serbia from 2002 to 2016. Non-performing loans are those that are in default, or are close to being in default. Many standard contract terms specify that loans become non-performing after being in default for 90 days, but this can vary. In 2015, a total of 21.6 percent of all loans in the country's loan portfolio were non-performing, which was an increase compared to 4.1 percent in 2006, after reduction from years 2002 to 2004.
