The net nuclear electrical power capacity in France was at 61.37 gigawatts electric between 2020 and 2022, with a decrease compared to 2019. The installed nuclear capacity almost doubled in the 2010s compared to the 1980s, when it was around 35 gigawatts electric. The nuclear share of electricity generation in France increased from 64 to a peak of 76 percent over the same period.
