The statistic presents the self-assessment of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) of their own capabilities for accessing external financing in the United Kingdom (UK) as of 2014. Approximately 19 percent of SMEs considered their abilities in seeking finance to be poor and further 27 percent saw them as "average".
