Book buying in Canada 2019, by age group and gender

A study conducted in the first three quarters of 2019 found that 52 percent of Canadian adults aged 65 or above had not bought a book in the last year, making these consumers the least likely book buyers. By contrast, just 25 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds had not made a book purchase in the last twelve months.
