Trips by Canadian residents returning to Canada from the U.S. by plane 2013-2020
The number of trips made to Canada from the United States by Canadian residents using aircraft significantly declined in 2020 as a result of the travel and border restrictions implemented to minimize the spread of the coronavirus. In that year, approximately 2.86 million Canadian residents returned from a trip in the the United States by plane, reflecting a 71.6 percent increase from the previous year.
