This statistic shows the amount of PM2.5 emissions attributable to the building of ships and boats in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017. From 1990 to 2000, emissions went from 130 metric tons to 70 metric tons. In 2012, 50 metric tons were emitted, which is a fairly small decrease compared to 2000. In the following years, emissions actually increased again and totaled 100 metric tons in 2017.
