This statistic shows the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity of the construction industry in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1997 to 2016. It shows that the intensity has been steady over the years. In 1997, 130 metric tons of emissions in CO2 equivalent were produced for every million British pounds of gross value added (GVA), roughly the same amount was produced over most of this period.
