This statistic shows the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions attributable to the production of aluminum in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017. It shows that greenhouse gas emissions have decreased significantly over the years. A particularly notable decrease was from 2012 to 2013, when emissions went from approximately three million metric tons of CO2e to 666,000 metric tons. After a small increase in 2014, the greenhouse gas emission attributable to the aluminum production decrease even further to 645,700 metric tons of CO2 equivalent in 2017.
