This statistic shows the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions attributable to the building of boats and ships in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017. It shows that greenhouse gas emissions were volatile for the years 1990 to 2000, but decreased afterwards going from 299,700 metric tons in 2000 to 179,300 metric tons of CO2e in 2013. Over the following years, emissions increased again and totaled 295,300 metric tons of CO2e in 2017.
