Internet access: connection types in companies in Germany 2017

This statistic shows the results of a survey done in Germany on which connection types companies used to access the internet in the year 2017. During the survey period it was found that roughly 99 percent of companies in the information and communications sector used a fixed broadband connection.

For the survey done in 2017, fieldwork began in February 2017 with the dispatch of the survey documents and ended in mid July of 2017 with the transfer of the raw data from the statistical offices of the individual states to the Federal Statistical Office.
