Demand for biofuels as a share of fuel consumption by country 2012
The statistic presents the demand for biofuels as a share of fuel consumption in selected countries worldwide in 2012. That year, biofuels accounted for 4.2 percent of Italy's fuel consumption. The country's biofuel consumption stood at around 1.37 million metric tons of oil equivalent, while fossil fuel consumption in Italy came to about 31.5 million metric tons of oil equivalent.
