Share of adults that purchased financial products in the UK 2014-2015, by gender
This statistic illustrates the types of financial products purchased by both male and female adults in the United Kingdom (UK) within 12 months prior to October 2015, as a share of the total sample. It showed that the male respondents appear to have purchased more financial products than the female respondents during this time period. This is shown particularly in the motor and home insurance categories, however the share of respondents who have purchased both current accounts and mortgage or personal loans was equal for both genders.
