Africa's share of GHG offset projects by sector 2014
This statistic displays the distribution of greenhouse gas offset projects in Africa as of 2014, based on sector. During this year, there were 202 greenhouse gas projects and about 24 percent of these targeted the forestry sector. Africa has less clean development activity than in Asia, largely due to risk perception and lower demand for credits from forestry projects.
