This statistic displays the findings of a survey on the share of mobile phone users who used instant messengers on their devices at least weekly in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2014 and 2015, by age group. During the survey period in 2014, it was found that 64 percent of responding mobile phone users aged between 25 and 34 years reported using instant messengers on their devices at least weekly.
