Greenhouse gas emissions from civil aviation in the UK 2009-2018

Since 2009, domestic civil aviation greenhouse gas emissions while cruising oscillated. Domestic cruise emissions tended to be more than doubled than emissions from landing and take off. The latter remained relatively stable, with 0.4 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent from 2011 onwards.
