New Hampshire Republican primary 2016 exit polls: votes by candidate qualities This graph shows how well each Republican candidate performed in the New Hampshire Republican primary within voter cohorts segregated by depending on what they saw as being the most essential quality a candidate should hold, according to the exit polls conducted on February 9, 2016. Ted Cruz narrowly obtained the most support among the cohort that consider a candidate sharing their values to be the most important quality, 21% compared with John Kasich in second with 20%. Donald Trump had the most support among the other cohorts, including an impressive 66% in cohort of those who desire a candidate who tells it like it is.
