This statistic shows the percentage of exploration and production (E&P) company bankruptcies in the United States between July 2014 and year- end 2015, by state. In this period, 65 percent of the overall E&P company bankruptcies occurred in Texas, while six percent of E&P company bankruptcies over the same period of time occurred in Colorado.
