Institutional households consist of people living in the same accommodation, and whose needs are provided for by professionals. This includes people living in nursing homes, children's homes, homes for the elderly, rehabilitation centers as well as prisons, boarding schools and monasteries. From January 2014 people living in asylum centers are also included in 'other type of institution'.
