There was a timebreak in 2019, as the methodology changed nad figures were measured differently from 2020 onwards.

People are considered homeless when they do not have a fixed address and sleep in the open-air, in public spaces such as railway stations or shopping centers, in a car or a homeless shelter or with friends, family and acquaintances on a non-structural basis.

The four major cities are Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. Figures are valid as of January 1 of each indicated year.
