This statistic shows the quarterly trend in the retail sales volume (quantity bought) of music and video recordings and equipment in Great Britain from 1st quarter 2015 to 4th quarter 2019. The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2016 equal to 100. Over the time period observed, the volume of music and video sales declined significantly, reaching a low point in the last quarter of 2019, when the index measured at 80.3
