Cosmetics & toilet articles: quarterly sales volume index in Great Britain 2015-2018 This statistic shows the quarterly trend in the retail sales volume (quantity bought) of cosmetics and toilet articles in Great Britain from 1st quarter 2015 to 2nd quarter 2018. The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2016 equal to 100. Over the time period observed, volume sales of cosmetics and toiletries increased significantly, peaking in the second quarter of 2018, when the index measured at 120.9.
