Self-sufficiency rate for poultry in Germany 1991-2018 This statistic shows data on the self-sufficiency rate for poultry products in Germany in selected years from 1991 to 2018. The self-sufficiency rate indicates the percentage of required agricultural products that are produced domestically. In case of undersupply (under 100 percent) the respective products have to be imported. In 2018, the self-sufficiency rate for poultry was roughly 98.9 percent.
