The household type with the highest disposable income
The type of household with the highest disposable income in Sweden during 2020 was couples cohabiting with one or more adult children from 20 to 29 years. These households had on average a disposable income of close to 940,000 Swedish kronor.  
Single-person household had the lowest disposable income
The most common type of households in Sweden in 2020 were single-person households without children, followed by cohabiting or married couples without children. Single-person households in 2020 were the household type that had the lowest average disposable income, amounting to 265,000 Swedish kronor. Single-women households without children had a lower average income than single-men.
