This statistic shows the annual rate of persons at risk of poverty in Finland from 2006 to 2016, by gender. The rate of individuals at risk of poverty has fluctuated over the period, peaking in 2008 at 12.9 percent of males at risk compared to 14.8 percent of females. The figures dropped below 12 percent in 2015 and 2016. As of 2016, the poverty risk rate was approximately 11.5 percent for both genders.
