Finland: educational qualifications by gender and level 2021

By the end of 2021, roughly 3.5 million people in Finland had completed a post-compulsory education qualification. The majority of higher level education qualifications in Finland were completed by women. While there were 283 thousand women with master's level qualification, the corresponding figure for men was 214 thousand. Meanwhile, the number of men with basic or upper secondary education qualification was higher than the number of women.
