In 2022, Yle TV1 was the most popular TV channel in Finland, with roughly 29 percent share of the daily viewing time of Finns. The second most watched Yle channel was Yle TV2. The channel assortment of the public service broadcasting company Yle (Yleisradio) consists of Yle TV1, Yle TV2, Yle Teema, and the Swedish-speaking Yle Fem.

Yle refers to the Finnish public broadcasting company Yleisradio Oy.

The source adds the following information: "Finnpanel Oy produces the TV ratings by the means of panel research. Peoplemeters are installed installed to each TV set of a 1000 household sample (approximately 2100 individuals). The peoplemeters automatically identify the channel and time of viewing. The results are reported daily to the subscribers of the survey."

The results have been weighted to represent the entire population.
