Finland: development of theft offences 1950-2021
The number of theft offenses recorded by the police in Finland fluctuated over the period from 1950 to 2021. The number of thefts and petty thefts peaked at roughly 189 thousand in 2000. In 2021, approximately 128 thousand theft or petty theft offences were reported in Finland.
