New students in Sweden 2017, by age group This statistic shows the share of new Swedish students in Swedish higher education institutions in fall semester of 2017, by age group. The most common beginners' age was between 20 and 21 years (29 percent). Students up to 19 years old built the second biggest share (25 percent) out of other age group students.
