United Kingdom (UK): regular armed forces cause of death 2015-2017 This statistic presents the proportion of United Kingdom (UK) Regular Armed Forces causes of death in 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2016, 29 percent of all armed forces personnel fatalities resulted from cancers, making this disease the greatest killer of UK Armed Forces in this year. Suicide and open verdict deaths amounted to 10 percent, whereas there were no deaths resulting from hostile action.
