Pupil to teacher ratio was relatively stable during the period
The pupil to teacher ratio fluctuated slightly during the period but stayed relatively stable with 12.1 pupils per teacher in most years. The lowest number was in the schoolyear 2008/09, when there were 11.9 pupils per teacher, and then reached to the highest number of the period the year after, with 12.2 pupils per teacher. In the schoolyear 2019/20, the ratio was also 12.1 pupils per teacher.
Increasing primary school expenditure per pupil
During the period from 2007 to 2017, the expenditure on primary education per pupil increased annually. The lowest value of 76.7 thousand Swedish kronor per pupil in 2007 had increased to 108 thousand Swedish kronor per pupil in 2017.
