In Italy, the number of new books and editions published in Italy in the category ‘technology, engineering, manufacturing industry, arts and crafts’ decreased from 2007 to 2019. Commencing from 2010, when the highest number of publications was registered (nearly 1.8 thousand units), the new editions or reprints covering these topics have considerably decreased, reaching almost 1.1 one thousand units by the end of 2019.
