Pemex's number of drilling rigs 2004-2022
In 2022, Pemex had 82 drilling rigs, up from 80 drilling rigs in the previous year. In comparison to a decade earlier, however, this represents a decline of more than 35 percent. Officially named Petróleos Mexicanos, the company is Mexico's national oil corporation. Once amongst the largest oil companies in the world, Pemex's crude oil production reported an annual decrease throughout the past decade.
