Children reading books at least one day a week in Sweden 2018-2019, by age and gender
Nearly half of Swedish children read books at least one day a week. This is the result of a survey from 2018 to 2019. In general, girls read books more often than boys. The share of female children reading books once a week amounted to 49 percent, while the corresponding figure for male children was 47 percent.
