Share of consumers who trust in selected organization types in Canada 2016-2020

During a survey of Canadians conducted in early 2020 it was found that 44 percent of respondents said they trusted the news media, this result was four percent higher than in the previous year, but definitely lower than the 50 percent trust rate Canadians shown in news media prior to 2019. Large corporation have seen the least amount of trust placed in them by Canadians throughout the entire measured period.
