Arts attendance and participation level in England 2005-2016

This statistic presents the level of engagement adults had with the arts in England between 2005 and 2016. Over this period, around 30 percent of adults were attending art events or exhibitions, but not participating in artistic activities. A slightly higher proportion of people were both attending and participating in the arts in some way.
