Centrica EBIT from electricity generation in the UK 2013-2018, by subsector This statistic shows the earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of the electricity generation of United Kingdom (UK) based energy supplier Centrica from 2013 to 2018, by subsector. Earnings in the thermal sector declined significantly over this period. The EBIT of the thermal electricity generation peaked at -28.3 million British pounds in 2018, still a loss but an improvement compared to previous years. The nuclear sector EBIT declined steadily from 2013 to 2018, from 250 million to 45.7 million British pounds respectively.
