Bicycle sales volume in Germany 2013-2020

Germans buy roughly four million bicycles annually. In 2020, bicycle sales in Germany amounted to about 5.1 million units, around 61 percent of which were conventional bicycles. Electric bike sales soared to 2 million units in 2020, the highest value on record.
