This statistic displays the coal use from Combined Heat and Power (CHP) installations in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2010 to 2018, by type of installation, in gigawatt hours. It shows that the amount of coal used in pass out condensing steam turbines decreased significantly over this period, from 323 gigawatt hours in 2010 to two gigawatt hours in 2014. The following years, back pressure steam turbines were the only installation type to use coal.
