Box office revenue of documentaries in Denmark 2007-2021
In 2021, documentaries grossed around four million Danish kroner at the box office in Denmark, up from 2.8 million kroner a year earlier - an annual increase of about 45 percent. Despite the growth, the 2021 figure amounted to less than 87 percent of the 4.7-million-krone revenue recorded in 2019, before the pandemic. Overall, feature films' box office gross in Denmark rose three percent in 2021.
