Index values are calculated from 11 subcategories focused on consumer sentiment, such as expectations on the development of domestic unemployment, and consumer prices. An index value above 100 indicates a more optimistic outlook of consumers on the economic situation, whereas an index value below 100 indicates a more pessimistic outlook.
