The revenue of the German automobile supply industry began to recover in 2021, after a significant drop in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Between 2019 and 2020, revenue in the sector had dropped by close to 12 percent, but recovered to similar levels in 2021. The total revenue of the automobile supply sector in 2021 totaled about 80 billion euros.
