Georgia Power Company's customers by sector 2021
The vast majority of Georgia Power Company's customers were from the residential sector, with roughly 2.33 million customers in fiscal year 2021. By comparison, the Atlanta based electric utility company had 323,000 commercial customers at that time. Despite the difference in numbers of customers, energy sales for the commercial sector was greater than for the residential, at some 31.3 and 27.8 billion kilowatt hours, respectively.
