Import value of cashew nuts into Sweden 2008-2018

Sweden imported the highest value of cashew nuts in 2018, reaching 257 million Swedish kronor. In the years before, the import value fluctuated. Also, the country’s export value of cashew nuts peaked in this year, when it amounted to nearly 43 million Swedish kronor. This was more than ten times as high as in 2008, having an export value of around four million Swedish kronor.

International trade with pistachios

Overall, the import value of pistachios into Sweden increased from 2008 to 2018. By the end of this period, Sweden imported these types of nuts with a value of almost 45 million Swedish kronor. By comparison, the export value of pistachios from the country highly fluctuated in the same period. It was lowest in 2012, amounting to 40 thousand Swedish kronor and grew in the years that followed to 664 thousand Swedish kronor.

International trade with almonds 

The Nordic country’s import value of almonds was always higher than its export value from 2008 to 2018. As of 2018, Sweden imported almonds valuing at 374 million Swedish kronor, while the export value was roughly 76 million Swedish kronor.
