House purchase lending year-on-year change for Spanish banking sector 2010-2019
Annual change of banking sector lending for house purchases in Spain reached a value of -1.4 percent in 2019, a decrease of 0.3 percent in comparison to the previous year. Between 2010 and 2015 year-on-year change of lending for house purchase showed a negative trend, falling from 0.9 to -4.2 percent, the lowest value of the concerned period. This trend was reverted from 2016 onwards, although annual variation of lending experienced a slight decline in 2019.
