Malta: household electricity prices 2008-2017 This statistic shows the household prices of electricity in Malta from 2008 to 2017, in euro cents per kilowatt hour. It shows that for consumption of 1,000 kilowatt hour to 2,499 kilowatt hour, the prices for electricity increased over this period from 9.71 euro cents per kilowatt hour in 2008 to 15 euro cents per kilowatt hour in 2017. The prices increased significantly in the first two years and peaked in 2012 at 19.37 euro cents per kilowatt hour, but decreased notably in the last years of the period.
