UK: construction sector improvement

This survey of 150 Members of Parliament (MPs) in the United Kingdom (UK) shows the areas in the construction industry which those surveyed thought would be worth improving the most. 57 respondents, or 38 percent of the survey base, thought that improvements in people (e.g. training, wages, culture) would benefit the industry the most.

The exact wording of the question was as follows: "The following questions will focus on the productivity of the UK workforce, and the construction industry in the UK. The following factors can all influence productivity within the construction sector. Which of these broad areas, if any, do you think the UK construction sector should focus on improving the most? Please rank your responses in order of priority, where 1 = the highest priority and 8 = the lowest priority. " Only answers ranked 1 were counted in this presentation.
