* The survey conducted by the source was a urine test, with two questionnaires being filled in on the day of urine collection. The respondents collected their urine once during 24 hours. Multiple results were possible, therefore percentage points exceed 100 percent.
The test was done in the city of Doetinchem, which means the results are not entirely representative for the entire Netherlands. Nonetheless it does give an indication of the salt usage in the Netherlands as a whole.
