In 2022, there were about 781.4 thousamd foreign pilgrims in Saudi Arabia in order to fulfill the Hajj. In 2021, the Saudi Government restricted Hajj to residents in Saudi Arabia only, to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
